One question we get asked a lot is “what is the best spyware program“. Let’s face it there are are lot of different programs to choose from, it’s hard to tell which one you can really trust. Well here is some information that may help you to decide.

First thing you will be tempted to go for is a free programs. But let’s think about this for a minute, you have to ask yourself a question, why are they free? After all software costs a lots of money to create and promote, why would they give it away for free? The truth is the whole purpose of free spyware removal programs is to get you to upgrade to their “professional version” which costs money of course.

You see the free programs are designed to do a quick scan. They do not deep scan your computer and therefore miss a lot of applications that need to be removed that may be harming your computer. If they found and removed everything you would have no reason to upgrade right?

If you want to prove this to yourself go ahead and download a free spyware removal program and run it. Delete everything it finds and go download another program. Run that, and I will bet you that it will find more spyware and adaware on your computer. You could repeat the process with a third program, but I think you get the idea.

The best thing you can do is purchase a good professional spyware removal program. It is a very wise investment for any PC owner. A paid program will do deep, thorough scans and completely clean your computer the first time. Plus it will offer ongoing, live protection from bad programs. It will catch them before they have a chance to install on your computer. Plus you will have an option to schedule scans to provide you with weekly maintenance.

The next time you log into your bank account are you positive that spyware is not collecting your username and password? Trojans and key loggers will collect information and send it off to someone without your knowledge. These scam artists will have all your personal information, your usernames and passwords and other vital information. Once they have your information they can do anything they want with it. Like clean out your bank account, get credit cards in your name, steal your identity and more. Sometimes this will take years to straighten out and thousands of dollars.

For the small cost of a good spyware removal you could avoid and eliminate this problem for good. You can visit our main page to see the best spyware removal program we recommend. We rated the top three programs. You can feel safe and secure using any one of these as they will do a very good job protecting you against spyware.

A lot of people have emailed us and asked does xoftspyse work with vista? The answer to that question is yes, definitely. I run Vista on my personal laptop and have no problems running Xoftspyse. Xoftspyse is my top choice for spyware removal.

After using many different spyware removers I still like Xoftspyse the best. We did find some other budget and free spyware removers not compatible with Vista. One so called free program actually wanted to delete some dll files that I know for a fact were not spyware. So be careful what you download and run on Vista.

When I ordered my new laptop it came with Vista. I heard a lot of bad things about it, but after using Vista for the past 6 months or so I have to say I absolutely love it. How about you? I would love to upgrade all my older computers that are running XP pro to Vista… Well maybe in the future.

The top 3 spyware removers that we reccomend on our main page have all been tested and work great with Vista. You can feel safe using any one of them.

Tip: If For some reason Xoftspyse is not working right click on you desktop icon and click properties, click the compatability tab and set to run in Windows XP mode. Some early versions of Vista had a problem with compatability. Installing the latest updates for Vista should fix that problem.

If you are searching for the best spyware programs, this article is right up your alley. This article will tell you what to look for in a spyware program, the pros and cons of free spyware cleaners, and other important aspects of spyware programs. After reading this article you will have a better understanding of spyware programs and be able to pick the one that is right for you.

When you begin your search for an anti-spyware program you will encounter countless free spyware cleaners. These free cleaners are not always what they appear to be. Many of them are simply ways to market the upgraded version of the anti-spyware program, which you have to pay for. These cleaners focus on getting you to buy their product, which is the full version.

With the trials I encountered, many times I would be able to scan for spyware, but not delete it; I would then be asked to purchase the full version of the program. Another problem with free cleaners is that they are not thorough. They scan only crucial components and leave many areas unscanned, which means your computer was not adequately stand and is still at risk.

That means that in order to completely scan your computer, you’ll need to use several of these free cleaners to completely rid your computer of spyware. Anti-spyware programs are likely to conflict and leave you unprotected to future threats. Be wary when installing and using these free cleaners.

When looking to purchase spyware programs, do not judge the program’s quality just by its price. Like many things in life, price does not dictate quality. Why pay more for a product that may offer less than its competitor and not protect your computer as well? Another thing most people are not aware of when searching for an anti-spyware program is how much memory the program uses and that it will slow down your computer when it runs.

Spyware slows down your computer, so why would you replace it with a program that slows your computer just the same. A good way to ensure the you’re getting a quality spyware product are online reviews.

Ease of access is one of the most important aspects of an anti-spyware program. You must be able to quickly carry out tasks and be able to navigate around the program with ease. Support is also extremely important when it comes to anti-spyware programs. Programs that come with a good support system are essential, because if you needed assistance or if you should have a problem, you can get instant help.

In conclusion, when searching for an anti-spyware program do not always feel you are completely protected when it comes to free cleaners, and do not purchase a product just because of its price. Always keep ease of access in mind. You’ll appreciate it later on. A good support system is a must-have with any anti-spyware program, so before making a purchase, make sure your program has a proper support system

It is worth spending a little extra time searching and investing in a good product rather than quickly making a decision and downloading a free cleaner, or an expensive product that does not deliver what it promises.

Ever wonder if your keystrokes are being recorded? I don’t know about you but every time I log into my bank account I wonder. Key loggers can become installed on your computer without your knowledge, and record every keystroke you make. So who is spying on you?

Some businesses or commercial office buildings will install key logging software to keep an eye on their employees. They may even inform you that your activities may be monitored, so watch what you do at work. More and more people are getting fired for inappropriate computer activities on company time. While you may be able to detect a key logger on your work computer, you will probably not be able to remove it. I would not recommend that you remove it even if you could, it would probably result in your termination.

Now your home computer is a different story. You may have downloaded and installed a key logger program that came bundled in some other innocent looking software. Like a screensaver or maybe a game. These are the dangerous ones you want to avoid. These are made for collecting your information, bank account logins and passwords, Social Security numbers, and other important information and then sending it off to someone to be used against you. A logging program may be running on your computer right now and you would never know it.

So how do you tell? The detection software to be used for this is the same as spyware detection. Most windows versions do not have any tools to detect this. Windows vista came with Windows defender, but it really won’t do the job. You will have to download and install a third-party program to do this. While there are some free ones that work okay, I usually don’t recommend them. Why you ask? They really don’t do a complete job, it’s possible they are designed that way so you buy the full version or upgrade to their pro version.

You may have already been through this, but here’s a test you can run. If you have a lot of free time. Go ahead and download one of the free scanner/cleaners and run it. Delete everything it finds and downloading another program. I can almost guarantee that it will find instances that the first program have missed. You can probably download a third one, and repeat the process, and it will find more. Get the idea?

I would rather invest in a good professional version for spyware removal, knowing that it does a thorough job the first time and that my PC is safe from future attacks. Plus you get lifetime updates and excellent support, if you ever need it. A decent spyware removal tool is a good investment for any computer owner, plus you can use it on all your other PCs around the house. Do you feel safe when you log into your bank account? Identity theft has become a major problem, so be careful on how you protect your information.

Spyware was intentionally created to have a specific effect on your computer. It was built to generate revenue for the companies involved with its distribution. Unlike many viruses, which are purely malicious, software has a purpose. By using privacy-invasive programs these companies, some of them multi-million dollar companies, have found a way to market their products. It is essential to know the tell-tale signs of spyware in order to free your computer of these infections.

Spyware was not created by a 20-year-old hacker, doing it for fun, it was made for companies by companies. These programs are able to redirect your browser to whichever website it is programmed to. But they go one step further, they monitor which websites you visit. For example, say you have been shoe shopping online a lot lately. The spyware will monitor which websites you have been to, therefore, it will redirect you to their websites which sell you shoes. In addition, you will notice that the pop-ups are more frequent and also related to shoes in one way or another. But how do these malicious programs get onto your computer?

Spyware is usually bundled with legitimate programs. Often, the program can not function without the spyware file present. So, you are forced to install the privacy-invasive software, unable to remove it (or the main program will not function), and must either deal with it or lose the entire program. Just ‘dealing with it’ is not an option due to the threats spyware can have on your identity and security. In addition to redirecting your browser and displaying a never ending string of ads, spyware also collects other personal information such as passwords and keystrokes; this is where spyware becomes a risk to your security.

In some cases these malicious programs do more than generate revenue by directing you to their websites. They are able to log your passwords, bank account and credit card numbers, and even keystrokes. Keyloggers are able to record each button pressed on the keyboard into a log and send it back to the source of the spyware. Think about where you go on the Internet in a day; shopping, paying bills, checking on your account balances in your checking account. All of your personal information is at risk. But how do you remove spyware from your computer and will it stop other programs from functioning? There is a solution.

The easiest way to make sure your computer is threat-free while maintaining the programs you have, is to use anti-spyware software. Spyware cleaners quickly and easily can scan your computer for infections, removing them as it goes. After removing all malicious programs from your computer, professional anti-spyware programs then use active protection to continue to protect you from future threats. Therefore, the spyware is stopped before it can enter your computer and do damage. Be sure by using quality anti-spyware software that your privacy is private and your identity is secure.

When you first buy a computer it seems as fast as lightning then over time it seems to slow down little by little. Most people think this may be caused from adding on too many programs or storing too much information on their computer. That really is not the case in most instances. This can be caused from such things known as spyware that gets stored on your computer when you visit certain websites.

Most of the spyware applications are usually bundled up as a hidden component when you download freeware or shareware programs. Keep in mind that most freeware or shareware programs normally do not come with spyware attached. Once the spyware gets installed on your computer or attaches itself to your computer it then monitors your activity on the Internet. It takes the information it steals from you and sends it back to the owner of the spyware.

Many people have heard of spyware being similar to a Trojanhorse because you do not know about it being installed on your computer. Once these programs are on your computer, they can do much harm before you know it. These are generally independent executable programs and they sit in the background monitoring your keystrokes as well as reading files you have on your hard drive. They can go through other programs such as chat programs or even word processors and they can read the cookies on your computer. Some of these spyware programs can even change your default home page on your web browser.

This can be very dangerous as it gathers personal information about you such as your passwords, e-mail addresses and even credit card numbers. One of the first things you’ll notice when you’re infected with spyware is that your computer can slow down considerably as these programs are using the bandwidth on your computer to send information back to its originator. Thankfully there are anti-spyware programs out on the market today that you can use to clean your computer and get it free from spyware.

You need to be sure to get an anti-spyware program that is reputable and will monitor your computer 24 hours a day. It is very important that you do a complete scan of your computer on a regular basis so that you can remove unwanted spyware as quickly as possible. While there are plenty of free anti-spyware programs out on the market today, they can only do so much. Generally the free programs will remove a great deal of the spyware that is on your computer but they may not be as thorough as many of the anti-spyware programs that you can purchase. If you’ve noticed that your computer is running slowly and seems to be lagging going from page to page, then you may be infected with spyware. You need to get an anti-spyware program as soon as possible so they can keep your computer running as efficiently as possible and to protect your personal information.

When searching for a means to rid your computer of spyware, you will come across countless free cleaners. It may look like you have saved yourself some money and solved your spyware problem, at first. Trial spyware removal tools are not as reliable and trustworthy as they appear to be. Many of them provide false security and leave you vulnerable to infections.

They leave many crucial areas unscanned and do not provide active protection against incoming threats. Before downloading a free cleaner, it is important to know some of the facts that these companies manage to leave out.

The majority of the free and trial anti-spyware programs are merely a way for the company that made it to market their ‘Professional’ version of the program, which is not free. With many of the programs I have used, I received half-services. What I mean by half-services is that you may be able to scan for spyware, and sure enough the scan will find some, but when it comes time to delete it, the trial spyware program directs you to their website to purchase the full version in order to remove the spyware. Others let you delete the malicious content, but leave out the active protection software, which protects you from spyware before it enters your computer. Since the free cleaners are merely marketing strategies, many of them do not provide adequate services.

Free anti-spyware software will give you a false sense of security, but actually leave you no better off than you were before. Many of them do not adequately scan your computer for infections. They leave crucial areas unscanned, therefore leaving your computer at risk. In my opinion, being able to scan for spyware but not being able to delete it is as ineffective as it comes. A very crucial part to any anti-spyware program is to be able to protect you from infections before they get into your computer and do damage.

Trial versions do not provide active protection against threats, making them highly ineffective at keeping your security safe. For example say you go on the internet to you favorite shopping website just to look around and you click a link that sends you to a third-party website that has harmful downloads. The website is offering downloadable coupons and you can’t resist saving money, so of course you download them. Then you go back to the shopping website and make a purchase using your credit card. Well those downloadable coupons have privacy-invasive spyware embedded in them, and now someone has your credit card number. All within minutes, your privacy is no longer private, and your spyware scan you just ran 30 minutes ago is useless.

It is better to use a professional spyware cleaner and be sure that your privacy is secure. You will thank yourself for the peace-of-mind it provides. In addition, you will be confident when shopping or paying bills that you are protected. The ease-of-access and features of quality anti-spyware software is well worth the investment. Be wary when using free cleaners because they are not free, and can come at a much higher cost than any software out there.

If your computer is slow to boot or your applications are slow to open you may have spyware running in the background and not even know it. Most computers after a period of time collect unwanted programs that install without your knowledge.

If you have ever downloaded any screen savers, toolbars, wallpapers, desktops or just about any other application spyware can come bundled in the application and install on your computer without you knowing it. Most computers after a while will become very slow to boot or applications take forever to load your mouse may become jerky or non responsive.

The surprising thing is that most people never scanned their computer for spyware or adaware until they have a problem. Regular scans should be part of your computer maintenance routine. Windows defender and other virus programs cannot remove spyware. You will need a third-party application to do the job. Your safe using any of the top spyware removers.

While there are a lots of free scanner/cleaners you can download most of them don’t do a complete job. If you have ever tried one of the free cleaners you’ll notice it does not eliminate everything. After using three different so-called free applications to clean my computer I learned it is better to invest in a professional program. Your computer will be safer and run smoother. Plus you will have access to tech support and lifetime updates.

The first time you run a scan on your computer you may be shocked. You will wonder how your computer ran at all. The good news is after your computer is clean and rebooted you will notice a vast improvement in speed and performance. You may not have to buy that new computer after all your old one will run like it did the day you got it.

You will also want to update and run your antivirus program to make sure your computer is clean from any viruses. Removing unused icons from your desktop may also speed up your computer. If you haven’t already done so you want to preform a cleanup on your hard drive. Do you have tons of icons in your start menu or taskbar? You will also want to remove the ones you’re not using a daily basis they use memory and other resources.

If your computer is still running slow or applications are very slow to open and you have performed the above tasks you may need to upgrade your memory. But without a doubt spyware applications are the biggest factor for slowing down a computer. They run in the background without knowing it, using up most of your physical and virtual memory. They can also collect personal information about you like your usernames and passwords. Some will monitor your surfing habits and even record your keystrokes.

At one time or another almost every computer that spends time online will get a spyware infection. If you have noticed your computer slowing down or applications taking forever to load you may be infected. Malicious programs can come bundled in at almost any download, like free screen savers, tool bars, weather applications, and so on.

Most people have spyware applications running in the background on their computer and have no knowledge of it. This could be very harmful to your computer using up precious resources like memory and CPU usage, making your computer run hotter than usual and work hard even when your not doing anything. Ever notice your computer grinding away when you’re not on it? Wonder what it’s doing? Ever notice applications take forever to load or your computer takes a long time to boot?

Your security may also be at risk. Some programs will collect personal information from your computer like user names and passwords possibly your bank login password and send it off to some third world country and be used to clean out your bank account.

There are a lot of free spyware programs you can download and run, but do they really work? That is the question you have to ask yourself. Ever notice when you run a scan on your computer that each program will find more application of spyware the other one did not? Free spyware cleaners are great to get you started but if your are serious about protecting your computer it is better to invest a professional version and have the job done completely the first time.

I discovered the one time fee you pay for a professionals version of a spyware cleaner/scanner is well worth the money. The tech support is excellent if you need them and lifetime updates are always included. The biggest difference between free and paid versions is that the paid versions find and clean everything the first time. Most free version don’t do a complete job making you want to buy their pro or upgrade to their professional version. Wonder if they were designed that way?

If you’re looking for the best anti spyware XP, read on. So you bought a PC with Windows XP and it ran great, or at least it used to. There are several reasons why your XP machine’s performance may not be what it used to be. By reading this article you will find what the main causes of poor performance are and how to repair them to get your PC running like new.

By seeing how the operating system is different from other operating systems, learning the best ways to protect your machine from threats, and which programs can help you to clean and trim the fat from your computer, you can get XP back up to perfect operating conditions with ease.

In order to know why your performance may not be what it once was, and why even simple tasks can take forever, you must take the time to understand a little bit about XP, and what makes it different from other operating systems. Windows XP uses system safeguards that are included in the operating system to help protect it from outside threats such as viruses, spyware, and adware.

Windows Defender, a program included with modern Windows operating systems, is the ‘front line defense’ for the operating system. It works to help block incoming threats before they penetrate the computer. It, along with the safeguards included with XP, is not enough to secure your computer from threats. Anti-virus is a must-have to keep your computer protected from the constant threat of viruses. You can find many free anti-virus programs online.

The same goes for adware and spyware. Spyware is the largest contributor to slowing your computer down and hurting performance. Spyware runs in the background and monitors the users personal information, which means it uses memory and CPU, which greatly decreases efficiency and increases the use of your computer’s resources. In order to rid your computer of spyware, you will need to download an anti-spyware program or spyware cleaner.

Anti-virus programs and all-in-one protection programs do not completely remove threats of spyware and can leave your computer unprotected and still running slow. But with so many anti-spyware programs out there, which one is right for your computer?

There are several aspects of each anti-spyware software that you should keep in mind before making a purchase or downloading a free spyware cleaner, which are not actually ‘free’. Just like a new car or other important purchase that you use on a daily basis, you want reliability.

You want to be sure your computer is protected and spyware free. Reliability is a must. But if you do not understand how to use the program, it is useless, so ease of access is also important. Support is a valuable thing to have if you were to run into problems or should you have a question. The so-called free cleaners promise things that they simply can not carry out. They leave many vital areas of your computer unchecked and therefore still at risk to spyware and other threats. They usually feature poor support systems and hard to use interfaces that make it difficult to even know what your are deleting sometimes. It is better to find a professional program that you can be sure will give you the performance you are looking for.

Windows XP’s protection systems are not adequate when it comes to protecting it from today’s threats and can leave your computer open to harmful viruses, and performance killing spyware. If you want your computer to run like it did when you first powered up your machine, then you must have a reliable anti-spyware software that is approved for use on Windows XP. As soon as you run the spyware scanners and delete the threats it finds, you will be astonished at the performance increases and finally, will once again see your computer at it’s full potential.
